Hydroponics refers to a gardening technique that doesn’t make use of the normal soil for growing crops. Since soil is mainly used as a storage medium for the plant’s nutrients, hydroponics eliminates the need for soil in growing crops by artificially providing hydroponic nutrients to the plants.
